JETS Is Responsibe Towards A Clean & Green Earth-Waste Recycling Program

Implementation of E-Waste Rules 2011.

At JETS we understand that we are responsible for creating a sustainable and environment friendly cycle for all our products. Our responsibility doesn't end at just selling our products to customers.

Under our Internal Scrap Management policy as well the legislation passed by the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), called E-waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011, which came into effect from 1st May 2012:

JETS will share responsibility and cooperation from customers in reducing the environmental impact of all their scrapped products and currently at end of life stage. These products cannot be disposed of along with general household/industrial waste. It should be disposed of through the company's collection center so as to prevent any damage to the environment

JETS complies with all the applicable laws related to e-waste management as suggested by Ministry of Environment.

JETS collects the e waste and hence request its Customers to deposit the products after their life with JETS so that the same can be handled as per Govt issued guidelines on Waste Management. Kindly contact JETS if you seek any Inputs / clarifications.

• All Used Batteries ,electrical and electronic products are required to be handed over only to the Authorized recycler.
• Keep the Used /Scrapped products in isolated area after it becomes non-functional/un-repairable so as to prevent its accidental breakage · Or any harmful impacts on Environment.
• The product should not be opened/tampered with by the user himself/herself, but only by authorized service personnel.
• These products need not be re-sold to any unauthorized agencies/scrap collectors etc..
• These products are not meant to be mixed with general household/industrial waste.
